9 Weeks of Summer Programs at Studio One Art Center For Immediate Release on Monday, May 19, 2008 The full compliment of traditional fine art, exploratory art, and just for fun art, in the form of workshops, classes, demos and labs will again enliven the newly renovated City of Oakland, Office of Parks and Recreation facility, Studio One Art Center. The 9 weeks of summer program is coming (Monday June 23 - Saturday August 23) and with it, effusive children, enthusiatic teens and very endeavoring adults, Studio One Art Center continues to be an artistic gem destination site for the residents of Oakland and the communuity at large. Registration is currently open for children' weekly art camps. For those children with many things to do, registration for individual classes is also available. All classes will be noted online by May 27. P.S. come enjoy a preview of the Studio One Art Center during the re-opening celebration Saturday May 31, 1:00 ~ 5:00 pm. City of Oakland |
